Mummy World

Motherhood can be a daunting task it is the most challenging yet most rewarding job you will find on this planet! I am very blessed to spend everyday at home with my 2 beautiful children, I get to witness every milestone, every mistake and every moment of their precious lives. Don't get me wrong- there's days I'm pulling my hair out because my 2 year olds ears just don't seem to be working! But at night when I'm laying next to her in bed and she says "mummy you happy?" and I reply "yes dear" she says "that's good I love you the whole wide world". That's the reward I'm talking about, they may seem like just words but those words are so much more to me, they really mean something to me. I realise I am this precious little human beings security, I am their safety net and I am so proud to be that.

Some days I get so frustrated but it's remembering this moment and hearing those words I tell myself- she's so little & depends on me to make her feel safe, therefore being frustrated will not help her feel this. Again dont get me wrong- in these times I still get frustrated but instead of showing it through yelling or stomping around I remove myself and breathe then I'm ok to return unbeknown to my little one who is looking at me as if to say- where'd you go?

Children make our world a better place and they definately make us better people! Becoming a mum is the best thing I've experienced and motherhood is my dream job and I've landed it!
